BENSALEM, PENN. -- The 1,185-store Fashion Bug women's apparel chain is working with the League of Women Voters on a get-out-the-vote campaign. The program kicked off on Saturday, April 8, with fashion shows featuring models from communities in which the stores are located. In addition, fliers about the importance of voting with information about how to register will be distributed at stores. Chairman president and ceo Dorrit Bern also sent letters on the importance of voting to six million Fashion Bug customers. Fashion bug is a subsidiary of Charming Shoppes.
